Okay, I know most people don't LOVE this one, but I did. I think being able to read Evangeline fall in love with Jacks through her memory loss was so special. Even though I absolutely HATE Apollo, I found it very interesting to see how, even through her memory loss, she acted differently with Apollo compared to Jacks.

I have a couple of favourite moments from this one. On page 167, in Jacks' POV we get to read "she wasn't nothing to him, she was everything," and the whole "please little fox, remember" from Jackson page 213. Like, are you KIDDING ME?

I think what I like the most about this book is that I felt like I got to know and understand how Jacks feels about Evangeline even more than I did before. Seeing him try to return her memories, sacrificing himself so many times, and just everything they went through made me love them even more. I do wish I had gotten a little more from their love confession, though; it felt a little underwhelming after everything.

I personally loved this one, and I don't care.

4.5 stars.
