I was fully invested in this one! I loved getting to see Adaira in the West and Jack making a journey to go see her. I thought it was so cutie.

I also loved Sidra and Torin in this one! Like when Torin finally figured out the riddle and made his way to Sidra in the West… their reunion? Are you kidding me? I loved it!

The only thing that bugged me was that I wanted more from the end. The battle between Jack and Bane was too rushed. I wanted to see and feel what Jack was seeing and feeling in that moment. I wanted it to feel the way it did when he sang for all the other spirits! It just felt a little rushed and I wanted more from it. Also, after having Jack just disappear and everyone being told that he’s never coming back, I wanted to see the reunion with his family! I loved his reunion with Adaira don’t get me wrong, but I wanted Mirin, Frey, Torin, and Sidra’s reaction! I wanted to see his relationship grow with his dad and grandma. I think I was just waiting for that little bit of oomph that just didn’t come.

I still loved the duology! It was so whimsical and magical!
