This isn't the type of book I usually read, but it looked really interesting, and boy, was I right.

It's a book that is so insanely messy. It felt like I was getting all the drama from a friend ,which was really cool. I liked getting to hear from the 3 main women, learning about their lives with their husbands and kids.

The novel is so compelling because it weaponizes perspective. At first, the story feels like a classic neighbourhood drama, but it's the twist that got me. Because, not only is there a death, but there's cheating, secret identity, and so much more.

I loved that I was surprised by all the plot twists. I felt like I had no idea what was going to happen next, just like the main characters. Finding out the truth of everything, along with the characters, is something that's really hard to write (keeping the reader completely in the dark), so I thought it was well done.

I didn't know it was going to give thriller vibes, but I'm so happy that it did.

3.25 stars.
